Steven I. Bergel has specialized in personal injury law for more than 20 years, including motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-falls, workers compensation and Social Security disability. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst in 1982 and received his Juris Doctorate degree from Suffolk University Law School in 1985. Attorney Bergel served on the Law Review and graduated cum laude. He is a member of the Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Florida Bar Associations and of the U.S. District Courts of Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He is also a member of the American Bar Association and Massachusetts Bar Foundation. Steve has spoken at a number of seminars on workers compensation sponsored by the Massachusetts Bar Association and National Business Institute. As an experienced Massachusetts injury lawyer, Attorney Bergel is a zealous advocate for his clients and is well-known and well-respected by the numerous judges before whom he has appeared. He serves on the board of the Massachusetts Coalition for Occupational Safety and Health (“MassCOSH”) where he advocates for safe and secure jobs for workers throughout Massachusetts. He is married, with three children.
